Urban Sauna - Brighton

We were commissioned to build a 6 person sauna in the centre of Brighton for the family to use privately & sometimes for the owner to hold urban wellness retreats in her garden. They wanted something that was easy & economic to use so we recommended the Huum Drop heater, which can be operated via the Huum app. The sauna can be turned on with the touch of a button when you are 30 minutes from home & the sauna will be ready for youb when you get back.

The outside of the sauna was clad in local cedar in the bar code style then stained black for an urban, contemporary look. A large panoramic window looks back from the sauna across the garden to the house. A glass entramce door also provides extra views from inside to the surrounding trees. Inside the sauna is clad with the best quality nordic wood, thermo aspen which is long lasting and has a beautiful natural smell. The two-tier benches are also hand crafted from aspen, giving the user 2 heat options. Water can be poured onto the hot coals to create steam.
